Injury Screens for Runners
A functional screen can identify strength and mobility issues that can lead to overuse symptoms while running.
If you're currently running pain free, identifying the propensity for these issues before they show up allows programs to be put in place to decrease the likelihood of these symptoms as running progresses.
If you're managing pain that is keeping you from running, a functional screen can potentially identify the cause(s) of this discomfort and enable programs to be put in place to support your recovery.
Join Johnson & Hayes Physical Therapists for a FREE functional screen designed specifically for runners. We're local to the community, and we want to see our local runners excel at a sport they love.

Your Franklin J&H Team

Drew Snipes, DPT
Drew Snipes, originally from Brent, AL has been living and working in Franklin, TN since 2006.
He began his career in health and fitness in 2009 when he made the transition from corporate finance to personal trainer in the St. Thomas Hospital Wellness Center. Dealing with his own injuries while training for an IronMan Triathlon and helping clients achieve their physical goals through exercise fueled Drew to increase his knowledge and expand his scope.
Drew earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2015. Since then, Drew has been diligently working to understand the science behind pain, improve his manual therapy skills (including a certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling), and finding the most efficient ways to help clients get back to health.
Drew believes strongly in the power of the partnership between physical therapist and patient to maximize healing and realize goals. He strives to be a familiar face to the community in Franklin, TN and provide the highest quality care so that patients can have continuity of care, and, as a result, live their best lives.
Outside the clinic, Drew enjoys 'everything outdoors' including fishing, hunting, softball, canoeing, running, hiking, camping, and golf. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife Lydia and two children Grady and Charlotte.

Nicole Larson, DPT
Nicole Larson is from the Disney capital of the world, Orlando, Florida where she grew up dancing and cheering and trying to show up her brother in any sport he pursued. She is a University of Central Florida graduate with a major in Pre-clinical Health and minor in Fitness Training.
Nicole found her passion working as a Physical Therapist technician and went on to the University of Florida to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree. She has experience in orthopedics and loves working with pediatrics, dancers, cheerleaders, pelvic health, and Parkinson's patients.
Nicole's goal is to give her patients the tools they need to connect mind and body and return to optimum health in order to fully participate in life activities.
Nicole lives in Franklin, TN with her husband. In her spare time, she loves to try new recipes, hike and go to the park with her dog named Cornbread, practice yoga, barre, dance, jog, and watching football with friends.
